Fulleda Turisme Actiu offers this route in “Trail” mode: “Trail el Mas Blanc” short route of 25 km with 800 m of accumulated positive gradient. A circular route with start and end in Fulleda and designed to follow counter clockwise.

The route which makes up part of “El Trail Mas Blanc” consists of 25 kilometres and allows you to discover much of the town of Fulleda and Tarrés with many sections of trail over the hilltops with many great views. This would also be suitable for hiking with high level difficulty.

The 25-kilometer route has an initial urban section inside the picturesque village of Fulleda, leaving Avinguda d’Agustina Zaragoza towards Plaça de Ramon Santamaria, Carrer la Bassa following a paved section until the track turns to the left towards a steep descent that will take you to Fondo dels Pous. You will leave Fondo and climb towards Plans de l’Arboç where you will turn right towards La Planota. Continuing towards La Mirona, you will pass by Font del Cinto. Take cation at this point as the ground tends to be quite muddy due to the spring! You will continue towards Vall dels Cortals, cross it and follow a path that will take you to the pipeline. There, you will take a path up towards Les Carreteres (587.3 m) and follow the path until you reach Camí de les Carreteres. Following this path for a few meters, you will enter the Bertrans section. Turn left to find the Cabana del Bertran del Rosso and follow the path down to the Racó dels Bertrans. Heading up the path towards the pipeline, turn right and go up before making another right on to an old path leading towards Racó dels Bertrans again (take cation as ground tends to be muddy here). Take the path on the other side of Racó that will lead towards the Mas del Pubill section, following a path along Bertran de Cal Ferrer de Fulleda. Here, we follow the pipeline again to Camí de les Carreteres , where we will pass by Punta del Dugo (624.5 m) and continue past Punta de Ràfols (653.1 m) on Camí dels Pujos. We will break on to a path that follows the power line until reaching Cisterna de la Ginera del Xifrenet. Here, we will leave the Putjos path on to a barren field that will lead us to Fondo dels Massos. At the top of Reboll de l’Engràcia will pass a centenary tree of recommended visit and a point of passage for other routes by Fulleda Active Tourism. We will follow a path that will take us towards Racó de Moscarró and there we will start the ascent along a path towards Plans de Tarrés, passing by the charming paths that form the route of Forns de Calç. We will leave the Plans de Tarrés and follow the Forns de Calç route until reaching Comes de Montgral. Here, we turn right along the pipeline and follow Pedrera del Palau towards Serra del Penjat (663 m), from where you can enjoy magnificent views of Fulleda and its surroundings. We will leave Serra del Penjat by following the Pipeline, turning right until we reach Font d’en Salat, where we will start the ascent to Plans de l’Arborç along Camí de Montblanc. The last 300 meters are by road to reach Fulleda, so we ask for caution in this section. A perfect route for those looking to spend a pleasant time discovering the peculiarities of the municipality of Fulleda and Les Garrigues.

This route is perfect for people who are experienced in Trail running and who are already used to running these distances and this level. There are some stretches of difficult progression, but overall, it is an affordable and beautiful route. It is recommended not to drink water from springs, as they do not have adequate sanitation. A perfect opportunity to discover the paths and valleys that form the municipality of Fulleda.

A discovery of a route that without any doubt we recommend from Fulleda Turisme Actiu.
